STAGE 2 ON HOW TO SKETCH If you are just joining us, you may wish to see the first stage on how to sketch here: BASIC STEPS  ON  HOW TO SKETCH.  1: Join the lines This stage shows us on how to join the lines together. Using your ruler, now begin to join all angles together from one end to the other. Don’t worry about the straight lines, we are heading somewhere. Remember you were told not to hard press your pencil on your paper to enable you clean any error. 2: Draw the legs and hands Now that you have joined the lines together, from the shoulder to the waist to the hip to the knee line, now draw the legs, add the feet and draw the hands of 9cm using your ruler from the shoulder. 3: Curve the joined edges Notice that the joined lines are straight, aren’t you wondering why the croquis body shape had to be straight on all angles? BASIC STEPS ON HOW TO SKETCH. FASHION ILLUSTRATION

LEARN HOW TO SKETCH. Note by Evelyn Umeh. Introduction To start sketching, you would need a pencil (H hard lead pencils preferably), sketch book and quality eraser.  In sketching, note that you should make light marks on your sketching paper instead of pressing too hard on the paper so that you would find it easy to clean once there’s a mistake.  Do not use pen. It is highly unacceptable and as such, not advisable because you won’t be able to erase where there’s alteration. You would need colored markers, ink or paint to color your sketch in order to give your illustration a good finishing by the use of well details, trimmings, buttons, etc. I have also come across sketches and illustrations that are colored with the use of makeup kits; it is all about your creativity.  First Stage to Sketching Your Croquis. STAGE 1 Croquis are considered to be the skeletal representation of your model. There are different ways and poses of sketching a croquis...

BEAUTIFUL SEWING ROOMS YOU SHOULD CREATE

Image
If you are a very passionate seamstress and tailor, whether professional or self/home tailor, making your sewing room look as neat as these wouldn't be a bad idea. It is achievable. Usually, most tailors are known to have clothes scattered all over the sewing room or shop while it isn't the case for some. I've had the experience several times of clients walking into my store, only to find it extremely neat like there's no work going on there. They'd ask, "do you make clothes here at all? Do you make clothes for clients"? I'm like in my mind, kidding me? Am I in store to play? Lol. Of course, I make clothes for clients but I'm just too meticulous and neat at everything which influences my sewing too.  Now, check out these sewing rooms. Aren't they waoh!?
