TYPES OF SEWING MACHINE



Let's begin with knowing the different types of sewing machines. We have 2 types of sewing machines, namely:
Manual Sewing Machine
Electronic Sewing Machine.



MANUAL SEWING MACHINE 

As pictured below, the sewing machine is known as the manual sewing machine. The manual Machine is very effective and efficient but has lower speed than electronic machine. It's also more stressful than the electronic. 



However, most manual Machines have electric engine with pedal attached behind the manual Machine head to help reduce stress and increase speed of sewing.

MS favorite machine brand for manual machines is "Butterfly". Tested and trusted for 5 years and still counting. We can only boast of machines that we have truly used and reliable.

ELECTRONIC SEWING MACHINE.

Electronic Sewing Machine are different classes: Industrial and desktop sewing machine.
  • Industrial Sewing Machine 



The industrial sewing machine is used in clothing companies and by professional tailors due to its high speed, effectiveness and efficiency. It doesn't only come with straight stitch as most of us who think they only come in straight stitch. We have industrial sewing machines with zigzag sewing and other types. Some also have provision for twin needle. 
MS favorite brands for the industrial sewing machine is the "Emel", "Brothers" and "Juki" and of course it's used by many tailors around here. It's been tested, trusted and reliable by MS for 3 years and still counting.

  • Domestic Sewing Machine (Desktop) 



The desktop sewing machine is one of the electronic Sewing Machine. It's mostly called domestic sewing machine because of its size. It reduces stress unlike the manual Machine. It also comes with different stitches from as low as 10 stitches up to 500 different designs of stitches, straight, zigzag, curve... , depending on the brand, model and type. 
However there's also a mini sized desktop sewing which can fit into a handbag, it's electronic and uses battery.
MS Favorite brands for the desktop electronic sewing are the "Janome", "Pfaff", Juki and "Brothers". There are different grades, the higher the grade, the higher their prices. My love for Janome more than Brothers because Janome was my first tested and trusted, however, they are both MS favorites.
Both tested, trusted and reliable for up to 2 years. 

The Mini Machine with battery and electric is the "MS brand"...
