HISTORY:
1790: The first workable sewing machine was invented and patented by the British inventor Thomas Saint. The use of thread and needle and mechanical fingers.
1830: French Tailor, Barthelemy Thimonnier patented the first practical sewing machine.
1834: The earliest idea for a double thread was invented by Walter Hunt of newyork
1851: Isaac Singer patented the first rigid-arm sewing machines.
1856: the sewing machine combination was formed consisting of singer, howe, Wheeler & Wilson and Grover & Baker.
