Sarah, a cripple in kabusa, Abuja shared her story with me and she narrated below:



"I was involved in an accident and became crippled, I had a boyfriend that I proposed to, he became my fiancé and that was before I had an accident. We were so much in love with each other or should I say I loved him so much from the way the event of things turned. I thought he loved me enough to go through my ordeals with me but to my greatest surprise, my fiancé dumped me. I became very sad, very depressed, very lonely. My world fell apart.



The one person I believed would be there for me left me without a word, he stopped calling me nor taking my calls. I only found out he no longer wants me when I heard he was already seeing another man.



My fiancé dumped me and not just that, no man wants to associate with me, nor date me nor marry me because of my condition and now on wheelchair.



If I was born cripple, maybe the pain of not being dated by a woman would be less but being in a situation I didn't see coming, I have lost all confidence, lost everything, what else am I living for? I feel like I should take my life and be free from this pains."
